Having to wear a large CPAP mask to sleep is not an enjoyable experience. You truly deserve restorative sleep for your overall well-being.
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder where you cease breathing countless times during the night while attempting to get restful sleep. The periods in which you stop breathing may last a few milliseconds to as many as 20 seconds or more and is frequently followed by coughing or panting sounds.
Sleep apnea is caused by the airway not being open all the way. Often the blockage of the airway is triggered when the throat muscles relax and lead to partial or complete obstruction. The word obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is used. OSA may also be treated by providing non-invasive dental procedures at our dentist office.
If you feel you are experiencing sleep apnea and reside in Aurora, CO or the surrounding communities, our team may be able to provide you with treatment options that are CPAP free. To schedule an appointment at our Aurora office, call 303-502-9420.
